There’s no better place to celebrate our parks than in a park.
On Thursday, September 24, from 4–7 PM, the Parks Foundation of Clark County is bringing together members, friends and community partners for our Give More 24 Picnic in a Park at Hazel Dell Community Park.
The celebration marks the culmination of our Give More 24 campaign and our push to welcome 150 new members to the Parks Foundation. Thanks to a generous $10,000 matching gift from the Firstenburg Foundation, we’re also working to maximize the impact of every dollar donated through Give More 24.
But September 24 isn’t just about fundraising. It’s about bringing people together who believe parks, trails and recreation make Clark County a better place to live.
A Community Celebration
This year’s Picnic in a Park is being held in collaboration with our Title Sponsor, BNI Vancouver Reign Makers, bringing together two organizations that believe strongly in relationships, community and giving back.
We’re also grateful to Greenhaven Outdoor Living and MADdogs Gourmet Catering for joining us as Supporting Sponsors.
MADdogs will be putting its catering expertise to work to help us serve up a great picnic meal while we enjoy an evening together in the park.
Our Media & Photography Sponsor, Brittney Corey Photography, will be there to capture the people and moments that make the celebration special — and Brittney has added another exciting reason for local businesses to get involved.
Join by September 24 and You Could Win a Branding Session
Brittney Corey Photography has generously donated a professional branding photography session to one business that becomes a Parks Foundation member by September 24.
We’ll put the names of eligible new business members into a drawing, pull the winner during Picnic in a Park and announce the winning business that evening.
If your business has been thinking about getting involved with the Parks Foundation, now is a great time to join.
Our Goal: 150 New Members
Membership is about much more than attending one picnic.
When you become a member of the Parks Foundation of Clark County, you’re joining a growing community of individuals, families and businesses who believe in investing in the parks, recreation programs and outdoor experiences that bring Clark County together.
Membership helps us build a stronger base of community support as we expand programs, develop partnerships and invest in parks and recreation opportunities throughout Clark County.
And we have a big goal for September 24: welcome 150 new Parks Foundation members.
