The Parks Foundation of Clark County proudly hosted the inaugural Hockinson Meadows Disc Golf Classic on June 20th, 2026, bringing together disc golfers from across the region for a day of friendly competition, community, and giving back.
As the first tournament of its kind in Clark County dedicated specifically to supporting a disc golf course, the event established what we hope will become an annual tradition. Proceeds from the tournament will help fund the ongoing maintenance and improvements of the Hockinson Meadows Disc Golf Course, ensuring it remains a premier destination for players for generations to come. By creating an annual fundraising event, the Parks Foundation is helping provide sustainable support for the course in perpetuity while also benefiting parks throughout Clark County.
The tournament featured two rounds of play on the scenic Hockinson Meadows course and welcomed players of all skill levels. Beyond the competition, the event celebrated everything that makes parks special—bringing people together outdoors, building community, and creating lasting memories.
“This event was about much more than disc golf,” said Sean Janson, Development Director for the Parks Foundation of Clark County. “It was inspiring to see so many people come together to support our parks while enjoying one of Clark County’s newest recreational amenities. The enthusiasm from participants makes us excited to continue growing this event each year.”
The Parks Foundation extends its sincere appreciation to JNB Mechanical, whose generous support as Title Sponsor made the tournament possible. We are also grateful to our volunteers, hole sponsors, Clark County Parks, and every participant who helped make the inaugural event such a success. Their commitment to parks and recreation will have a lasting impact on Hockinson Meadows and the broader community.
If you missed this year’s tournament, we hope you’ll join us next year as we continue building a new tradition that supports parks, recreation, and outdoor experiences throughout Clark County.
