Parks Foundation of Clark County Partners with Skyview Boys Soccer for Service Day at Camp Hope
Battle Ground, WA — The Parks Foundation of Clark County (PFCC) is proud to partner with Skyview High School Boys Soccer for a community service day at Camp Hope, a mission-based nonprofit located in Battle Ground, Washington. The service project took place on Presidents Day, Monday, February 16, and focused on site cleanup and stewardship to support Camp Hope’s outdoor programming.
Camp Hope is a hidden gem in Clark County, providing outdoor-based education, adventure, and fun for youth, families, and schools. Situated on Clark County legacy land, the camp plays a vital role in connecting young people to nature while fostering personal growth, teamwork, and resilience.
The partnership reflects a natural alignment between organizations committed to youth development, outdoor recreation, and community well-being. The Skyview Varsity Boys Soccer team is led by Head Coach Sean Janson, who also serves as Development Director for the Parks Foundation of Clark County.
“I’m thankful to be in a position where I can combine my passion for soccer with my desire to help my community,” said Janson. “Camp Hope is a great opportunity for the Skyview soccer team to benefit the community, and it aligns perfectly with the work I do for the Parks Foundation. This service project reinforces the values of teamwork, leadership, and service that we strive to instill both on and off the field.”
The Parks Foundation of Clark County works to improve the quality of life in Clark County by supporting parks, trails, and recreational programs. Partnering with local schools and nonprofits like Camp Hope helps amplify that mission while creating meaningful service opportunities for youth.
