Josephine’s commitment to community service runs deep. She has served as Art Curator and Manager for La Casita Art Gallery and Cultural Center, championing accessible arts programming and cultural events. She volunteered at countless community organizations’ fundraisers and events over the years. Her volunteer work is based on her passion for building partnerships, and supporting programming that serves diverse community needs.
Why the Parks Foundation? I am a firm believer that outdoor experiences enhance environmental outcomes, and serve the physical, and mental well-being of individuals and the community as a whole. I consistently & actively encourage others to ‘get outside’ – explore and connect with nature.
Favorite park? I love going to Clark County parks with my kiddos for sports, exercise, relaxation, and fun! Vancouver Lake Regional Park holds a special place in my heart – I ran my first triathlon there and it remains my favorite run. The view at the halfway point is spectacular!
